As a husband-and-wife team of experienced Occupational and Speech-Language Therapy professionals with years of experience across hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and outpatient care, we noticed a major pattern amongst our patients: individuals fully capable of staying independent were leaving their homes simply because their living spaces weren't adapted for them.
